About Stolen Ground

Marketing is so important. We see it on TV, we hear it on the radio and, most importantly, we live it online. In my last five years as a digital marketer here in Cincinnati, I’ve uncovered secrets that will blow your mind and I want to share them through this website!

The most important thing I’ve learned, though, is that these concepts of human psychology extend far beyond the reaches of business marketing. These are concepts that extend into the minds of hiring managers, which is why I’ve incorporated resume revisions into this website.

Resumes are relatively easy to audit if you’re a “traditional” resume reviewer. They’ll adjust your grammar and correct your spelling… they might even match your language to the job description. But they won’t turn you into a brand. They can’t humanize you, because they’ve never taken something intangible, like a product or resume, and made it into something people are passionate about.

That’s where I excel.

If you’re like me, you’re constantly learning and like sharing new breakthroughs. So here, we’ll explore the way people see, think and feel things that influence actions, with an emphasis online.

These computers are a very real part of the way human psychology is influenced and it would be a mistake not to acknowledge these online systems in the conversation. They’re every bit as involved with decision-making as we are!

My day-to-day is devoted to executing, optimizing and reporting on search marketing (getting clients’ webpages to the top of a valuable Google search) and every blog post I write contains lessons from the vast trenches of marketing execution.

We’ll bridge the gap between human decision-makers and robot influencers like Google & Applicant Tracking Systems. We’ll deep-dive into the ways we can influence the minds of people and machines alike! Let’s cover some ground.
